Claude Chabrol's film "One Girl for Two" ("Girl Cut in Two"), 2007, and I can say that although it was included in the list of the ten best films about a love triangle, I did not make a particularly strong impression on me, although the actors did good (Benois Magimel, Ludivine Sanier, Francois Berlean). I'm afraid that voice acting played a role in this, especially the man who voiced everything with the same stupid intonation. And the story itself does not shine with special novelty - a young girl falls in love with an elderly writer who, despite his monotonous restraint, turns out to be a swinger with experience and she loses her head, while he, enjoying the sweet fruit that fell into his hands, decides to get away from sin, than pushes her to marry a psychotic rich heiress, who, in turn, loses his head from her. Everything ends quite operetically murder, and his relatives, pressing pity and beckoning money to soften the husband’s punishment, leave her with a nose. I looked at the actors and did not recognize them - well, Berlean was never very lively, Mazhimel at times was like Bezrukov, and Sanya just did not succeed in all the scenes. The story, of course, is dramatic, but quite ordinary for the criminal chronicle. Chabrol's movies were much stronger, but that's my opinion.
