I have not watched a single film by Polish director Marek Kotersky, so I decided to get acquainted with his films. His first film was Dzień świra (2002), considered his best film. At the same time, I learned that in several of his films the same character appears, who is the main character and in this film is Adam Miacinski, here he is played by Marek Kondrat. He is a 49-year-old intellectual, at least by profession – he is a literature teacher at school. He once had a university career, but he gave up everything and took the path of least resistance. This is a completely disappointed person both in life and in himself, he is irritated by literally everything in his environment, the only person he seems to love is his son, who in many ways, at least by habits and lexicon (often replete with obscene vocabulary) copies his father, and he, judging by his words, copied his father at one time. With his wife, he is divorced, she is trying to arrange his personal life, with Adam they clearly have a hostile relationship and with whom does he have a good relationship? With no one, doggy with neighbors who get on his nerves literally everyone. He tries to organize his life, regulating literally everything - up to the number of stirrings with a teaspoon in a mug. He constantly goes to the doctors and takes a huge number of pills. One bright memory in his memory is his first love. And one day he quits everything, leaves school and decides to relax, going to the sea, but there he does not rest. When he comes back, everything goes back to normal. The film, in general, is not bad, sharp-satirical, the actor is also good, so I watched it even with some interest, although, of course, the character does not cause sympathy or sympathy.
