Superhero Movie "Firefighters are looking, police are looking,"
Looking for photographers in our capital,
They have been searching for a long time, but they can’t find it.

The production project from Timur Bekmabetov, based on famous Hollywood stories about superheroes, with the desire to make a similar blockbuster in our country, became exactly what it should be - the first decent film about our superhero, the best Russian film of 2009, and just a spectacular blockbuster in Hollywood traditions. For such a movie is not ashamed, on the contrary, takes pride that we know how to do the same, wisely investing money and creating such works.
The plot presents modern Russia, in particular Moscow, where "Spider-Man" connects the story with "Iron Man". We have a loser student from a poor family trying to win the heart of a new girl, and on whom a unique opportunity falls, not available to others. The fiction in the film is all scientifically grounded, and the car does not fly by the wand, but at the expense of the possibilities of Soviet inventions and the best minds of the nation. At the same time, the classic villain, chicly presented by the best villainous actor of our cinema, Viktor Verzhbitsky, is trying to make an improved modifier of the invention and turn power to others for evil - for his own good. Many scenes almost verbatim quote "Ironman" with "Spiderman", constantly intersecting, but you can feel only delight, and pride in the fact that ours can do the same!
Stylish video can spoil only a variety of non-hidden advertising, from which a maximum of 20% of the available one looks appropriate and organically, this factor is corny and frankly annoying, and it is saddening here that such a technique does not develop from film to film. The eye-cutting advertising in the first “Watch” just remained here, no ideas for a more organic application and presentation are not taken at all. And, perhaps, the main disadvantage is precisely this. In the sense of venality and forced to make not a movie, but a commercial for a huge pile of products and brand promotion. It’s not serious, it’s not beautiful and it just breaks the movie in its essence.
A pretty girl on the role of the main character, one smile knows how to warm in the fierce Russian frosts, giving the film charm and ease, being the main for the romantic line and its unfolded drama with conflicts. Verzhbitsky, as I said, gave out the best Russian villain, playing flawlessly. To this are added the bright Valery Zolotukhin, Ivan Zhidkov, Mikhail Efremov, and fans of our series will please the youngest of “Daddy’s daughters”.
And against the background of a wonderful acting tandem, the main character somehow does not deftly look. I don’t see Dobrygin’s debut as justified, and I didn’t notice any bright features in his game. The role of the hero could be successfully played by, say, Pavel Priluchny from “On the Game”, which in the image of a selfless hero who sacrifices himself to save many lives, it would be very interesting to watch. But in the end, we have a rather obtuse, sorry, boy, whom in real life you want to bypass, and the look from under the hood says only “Is there a mobyl with a camera to puzzle?”. Maybe that's what they wanted to do with it. Are there heroes among them? But I can't believe it. This is not an “ordinary Russian guy” at all, this is not the image that should delight and inspire exploits, teach goodness and help the whole world. The problem of the film lies directly in the key character. After all, in the West, look who are given such roles: Toby Maguire, Edward Norton, Eric Bana, Robert Downey Jr., what bright and talented figures who have both experience and charisma, who for the sake of one mention in the caste will go to look at a huge number of people. Why was it so reckless to cast the lead role in Black Lightning? I can't say Gregory played badly. No, he did his job well, but he didn’t become an emblem, he didn’t show any charisma or charm. And against the background of a really strong young actor - Ivan Zhidkov, he looked dull and weak. If they changed roles, the movie would win. But maybe someone will disagree with that.
When the action begins, the spectacle is breathtaking, but often the minting of the visual, putting the viewer in the place of the hero himself, shocked by the first sudden flight of the Volga, prevents you from enjoying this very flight. Definitely spectacular component lacks smoothness and beauty, how well would blend something in the spirit of a first-person view on the flight over night Moscow, skirting the Kremlin and just high-rise buildings. Just beautiful scenes, little necessary for the plot, but giving the film the atmosphere of what is happening directly are a very necessary element of the genre, and if the "Iron Man" really beautifully flew just like that, testing the possibilities of armor, then here the self-serving mentality of a Russian person does not allow you to just fly and admire, the day of the superhero is painted in minutes: to pull fishermen out of the ice, save a boy from a burning house, eliminate a deadly block of icicles and much more, which not every brave and brave person would decide to do.
And a healthy portion of humor associated with the reminder of the classic comedy trinity will not let you get bored, complementing and fitting into the general plot with a small sideline, which also has an instructive character. There’s not much fun in the movie, if you look at it, but the humor that’s out there is really funny.
Black Lightning, which is the first pancake in the kitchen of our country’s superhero cinema, has not become a traditional lump, but has truly shown the capabilities and potential of our film industry and competitiveness with the West. Fantastic film-holiday, ideal for cheerful positive mood and a portion of joy. And the best part is that I don’t want to add anything to this film, but I want to add one thing to it – to continue! (and to be sure in 3D!)
