Render justice The problem with all superheroes is that everyone knows they are superheroes. This is what the main character of this film thinks, and perhaps not without reason and some truth. And then, seeing in himself and his own Asian mechanic the potential to fight crime, he bravely decides to bring justice to the city streets, eliminating drug factories and corruption. Almost absolute non-stop action, seasoned with an abundance of black humor and all kinds of jokes - reveals the idea of cooperation and strong friendship, spectacular attraction impressing with a variety of interesting action and many special effects!
Seth Rogen, who plays the carefree son of a rich dad, and after his death decided to become a masked avenger, portrays an ambitious superhero with no abilities at all. All the chips to stick to Kato - a talented fighter and mechanic, performed by Jay Chow - he demonstrates the perfect technique of fighting against a group of armed opponents, he collects a cool and stylish wheelbarrow full of all kinds of gadgets, makes masks and even comes up with a direct heroic nickname for the main character! Remarkably placed in bright roles, the cast perfectly copes with the presentation of characters, and the beautiful visual part perfectly complements the delightful plot!
A cool car full of all sorts of gadgets and stuff, a pair of masked heroes fighting crime, a spectacular villain and a magnificent beauty - they all create this heroic triumph! Walz brilliantly serves a villain fixated on his own intimidation, and Diaz perfectly copes with the party of a well-read secretary-journalist, helping in every possible way on the plot and decorating the film with his charm. In general, in the film, we are waiting for a numerous and very diverse action, saving innocent lives, fighting corruption, and of course - beauty, cars and a beautiful life - all in bulk, also with a drive scenario, where a very large amount of humor and banter over the characters and the action taking place.
The presence of a large number of homages to the original series, based on a beautiful series of comics, also looks good. Particularly noteworthy is the drawing with the image of Bruce Lee (who played in the series Kato) and the magnificent final musical theme in the credits. The film is not a few excellent tricks, as well as visual finds, among which the brightest feature is the numerous division of the frame in one of the scenes of the film. Slow-mo fight scenes look even more spectacular in 3D format. Gondry showed an excellent visual, and the casting in the best way embodied on the screen very funny characters of this action!
The action flows from action to action almost without stopping, and when it seems that a good fight has ended, an equally exciting chase begins, for that shootout, next fights and so on until the very end. Occasionally giving a breather, the plot beautifully reveals the relationships of the characters, and their disagreements are also without spectacular and cool scenes will not do. There will be a love triangle, for the development of which, I want to believe, we will watch in the sequels, since the love line here is lowered in fact not even on the second, but somewhere on the third plane in its importance, only very rarely acting as a catalyst for the development of events.
A very funny and cool superhero project, and just a masterfully crafted standard of the genre, rushing through in its frenzied dynamics with an impressive attraction! In the shell of funny scenes and visually impressive spectacle follows a good and correct story about the obligatory victory of good on evil, sincerity, the power of real friendship and mutual assistance. The film turned out so lethal that I want to review it immediately when the credits appear, counting on numerous sequels. Great superhero movie!
