The film, which in the Russian box office was translated as "Being Stanley Kubrick" (in the original - Colour Me Kubrick: A True...ish Story) by British director Brian Cook (2005). The film tells the seemingly real story of an adventurer who lived in England, posing as Stanley Kubrick, using a well-known circumstance regarding his reclusive lifestyle, not at all ashamed of the fact that he has absolutely no resemblance to him, distinguished by immense arrogance, being an alcoholic and, to top it all, gay. And he was regularly exposed, but it did not stop him. After the last revelation, he was put in a mental hospital, because he pretended to be a psycho, so he avoided trial. The beautiful role of John Malkovich, the film is quite British - with a recognizable entourage and realities, although in places uneven. Many famous actors flashed in episodic roles, including our favorite Virtuoso - M. Warren.
