"Zwartboek" ("Black Book"), 2006, the Dutchman Paul Verhoeven, who finally took a picture in his homeland after 20 years in Hollywood. The film has a high rating on IMDB (8.0), but is inferior to Spielberg’s earlier Schindler List (8.9) and Tarantino’s later Inglourious Bastards (8.3). The Black Book is the result of an attempt by the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee and members of American Jewish communities to document crimes against the Jewish people during the Holocaust. All three films deal with this subject. That's just "The List" is a very serious movie based on real facts, and "Bastards" is a kind of spaghetti western, the action of which is transferred to Europe, and in "Book" there is something from our "Young Guard" and even from "The Feat of the Scout". But all this does not detract from the lookability and drama of all these good paintings, which received a lot of awards. The fascists have lost, and nobody is stopping anyone from fantasizing about this topic. . . Wonderful diverse Dutch actress Carice Anouk van Houten. Her career began in 1997, and world fame came ten years ago. Her partners on the set were Tom Cruise (who played Colonel Klaus von Stauffenberg, who led the plot against Hitler in 1944 - as we are told by the film "Operation Valkyrie"), Clive Owen, Rutger Hauer, Sean Bean, Jude Law, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sebastian Koch (the latter is also a partner in life before their separation in 2009). Geography of shooting is extensive: USA, Holland, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Belgium, South Africa... Interestingly, in the list of films Caris van Houten - four films with the word "black" in the title (chronologically: "Black Swans", "Black Book", "Black Butterflies" and "Black Death"). It was the role of Rachel Steinn - Ellis de Vries in this most expensive film in the history of the Netherlands by Paul Verhoeven that brought Caris world recognition in 2006, although fame and prizes came much earlier. There are in the list of van Houten and two wonderful - different genres - but similar in titles of the film: "Eaters" and "Rippers". She also starred in the famous "Game of Thrones" and "Fifth Power" - about the creator of "WikiLeaks" Julian Assange performed by Cumberbatch. There is in her repertoire and the film “Dorothy Mills”. The latter interestingly tells about my favorite DID syndrome, or, if ICD-10, about the "multiple personality disorder" - MPD. In this film, Caris played a psychiatrist. .
