Dolphins Under my skin, under my skin.
To launch a pack of dolphins...
After watching Luc Besson’s film “Blue Abyss”, I suddenly came to understand the message that Ilya Lagutenko sent us in his song “Dolphins” more than ten years ago.
Well, not to the end, of course, understanding - he probably has a lot of things there, but, nevertheless, ...
Before us is a whole, long, large and deep, like all its depths, a film about human hobbies, those that absorb a person completely, eat him without leaving him to plunge into fundamentally different, everyday, whirlpools.
At the forefront, in order not to "scorch", there is a sea, in the expanses of which his characters love to plunge so much. The sea, with its darkness and cold, calls them, beckons, and if they come to it, they hardly let go to the surface.
These passions do not pass for heroes for nothing. As not in vain fascination with other alluring and calling chemicals / things.
The film is too big, damn beautiful, incredibly long. Its plot, sometimes funny, sometimes romantic, and sometimes dramatic, is able to fit into a few lines and is predicted “with a hurrah” on the second attempt.
And yet it makes sense to watch it. To marvel at the mighty beauty, sobering emptiness and frightening darkness of the sea depths. Admire the young and seductive Roseanne Arquette. To make sure, in the end, that Besson was in his time "wow."
"Drowning, drowning..."
You won't sink...
You'll break down one day.
