16-year-old Jeong-uk, whose deceased father had relationships with at least three women, gets into the house of one of them – a lonely teacher Hyo-jin. The search for a real mother turns into a teenager comparing himself to a book without a cover, a search for maternal instinct. This film is full and full of women, but none of them took a boy in their time - not after the funeral of his father, nor after the word "mommy". At 16, it was probably too late - although Hyo-jin began to call herself a mother, but her friend explained her true role to her: "You are a stepmother, and stepmothers are evil." The failure of the search for Chung-wook is marked by his sincere desire to take responsibility for the unborn child - it is the only truly worthwhile part of the film. But the abundance of women who always choose the easy ways for themselves, unfortunately, pushes the plot into a disappointing direction. “Yes, of course, in a moral sense, you may be right, but ...” – these words Hyo-jin admits his wrongness and wrongness of the film. So I don’t recommend watching – go by.
