The second social drama from Hunt is not inferior to the story of Vitka Garlic. The viewer is again offered a stylish road movie about the collapsed family institution in our country.
This time the story about teenagers from families, which in the relevant bodies are called prosperous - there is separate housing and money, teenagers do not suffer from hunger.
The problem of finding yourself for many is relevant at the age of 16 (and, for good, should be relevant at any age). If the Courier at Shakhnazarov could not find a place, spinning in various parties, against the background of universal empty conversations about a bright future, then the heroes of this picture do not even have this.
Desperation and hopelessness lead to a thirst for change, which in turn leads to a desire for its own revolution – it is not clear which and where leading. Having no high education (which has nowhere to come from), the heroes have no choice but to try to understand themselves, breaking their foreheads against the world around them. The option of internal revolution and self-development, extended reflection, like the Courier, they no longer have, because of the inner emptiness.
As in the story about Garlic, every game is often created in the frame, once again causing strong associations with Getting to Heaven. Yes, stealing and vandalism are bad. But judging heroes is not possible here. Hunt still in Garlic sifted through this chip and generously sprinkles the plot with exculpatory "but".
At the end of the story is a fat point. To experiment with an open ending, as in Garlic, Hunt this time did not want. Otherwise, this story would not have been completed.
Great movie. We don't have good directors.
