Deep meaning in a simple story I read the annotation for the film, KinoPoisk suggested what to see.
Hmm, I was thinking. What could it be? Will it be another attempt to show the truth or will it be a second-rate film? Given the low score, I didn’t expect much. But these are Koreans, they often surprise. And surprises well. Mostly, of course, their horror stories. This is fantastic. It touches on serious questions of life, death and in general (probably questions of the universe, but there is no answer to 42 here).
At first I thought I was watching a soap show, just as loudly and the voiceover seemed similar. But then the truth began to emerge. No, not the truth. Something close. We haven't learned the truth yet. And even the Koreans didn't come close. But they're really close.
The question of life and death has always been. Nobody wants to die. Everyone dreams of living forever. Even those who are humbled and mortally or seriously ill cherish this hope.
Apart from life and death, there is another issue. Whether we're going the right way. Is war, aggression, hatred of each other, competition, which is presented as the engine of progress (no) all right? Or is there just no other way? Or do we just not want to see him? Is there really no other way?
The evaluation of this film does not matter. To value the truth is to devalue it.
So decide for yourself whether to watch the movie or not.
After watching, I took another step in the right direction.
