Jack Reacher, a veteran military police investigator, has just recently entered civilian life. Reacher is a drifter, carrying no phone and the barest of essentials as he travels the country and explores the nation he once served.
Not a bad adaptation of the book. Moderately twisted plot, well-staged fights and shootouts. The main character corresponds much more accurately to the book character than Tom Cruise in the feature film. Some places are a little tight, but tolerant.
I will add the following to the commentators. Directing to hell:
Fights are unrealistic and blurred, in general, all action is unrealistic and poorly filmed. Always infuriates when a person receives a hail of blows, each of which in practice should be deadly (especially liked the fomka on the face from all over), but the fight ends

I will add the following to the commentators. Directing to hell: Fights are unrealistic and blurred, in general, all action is unrealistic and poorly filmed. Always infuriates when a person receives a hail of blows, each of which in practice should be deadly (especially liked the fomka on the face from all over), but the fight ends and the hero moves to the next - well, definitely the Terminator, only the body is not steel, but ordinary. And with the rest of the participants the same story - first the man gets a bullet in the leg, and then her knife without anesthesia cut, and then he safely jumps with a bandage to the next fight, and on both legs and without limping. But the acting is decent, the plot is interesting. For the series, the plot is not even too long.
The first series intrigued, and then, including the final, somehow boring, without interesting events. And, the main character does not look like a person with intelligence.
