Simple, but funny and kind story about the Oedipus complex (in the interpretation of Erich Fromm) and the problem of fathers and children.
The guy has a problem with his mother (we don’t know about this immediately), he tries to replace her and looks at older ladies. And the lady because of problems with her husband and father suddenly looks at the young guy. Well, then begin a kind of “marriage” games against the background of production drama (all work in a book publishing house in the crisis stage). According to the canon, in order to get out of this situation whole, you will need to “deal with” your parents. I don’t know if there will be a sequel, but the season finale is open, unsaid. Unsaid in a good way, though.
In general, it turned out quite a fascinating fusion of sitcom, family and production drama. You can compare it to the films The Graduate (1967) with Hoffman and The Secret of My Success (1987) with Michael Fox. In some places it resembles the British sitcom "The Job Lot".
The only thing that killed the realism of what was happening at the very beginning is a ridiculous scene about how the “IT person” for some reason drilled the wall for several hours.
