My Left Side may have missed the stars from the sky, but it looked like a decent middle man at first. The story of a young girl from an impoverished family who got into the company of “majeure” students of the prestigious Istanbul University. Misunderstood by them as their own, they are drawn into a circle of intrigue and relationships within the company. Unfortunately, the series failed to keep the audience’s interest at a high level and as soon as the plot “sank” after the tenth series, it was decided to close after only two episodes. Not the last role in this was played, I think, not quite a successful choice of the actor for the main male role. Despite the attractive, at first glance, appearance, he has an unpleasant facial expression. So the pair of main characters could not keep the sympathy of the audience on the same charisma and chemistry (as they did in their time in “Cherry Season” or “Knock on my door”). And this despite the abundance of kisses uncharacteristic for Turkish cinema, naked male torsos in each series and a fairly dynamic plot. As a result, 12 episodes and a crumpled finale of the “think it yourself” type. On the other hand, the series left without having time to lose the rest of the rating and leaving a fairly good impression.
