Overall, the movie was good, but I didn’t like two things.
First of all. For the first half of the film, in Europe, Simran is dressed completely shameless. I'm shocked to see that in an Indian film from the main character.
Second, and most importantly, the ending. The creators are just mocking the viewer. Raj swears to Simran that he will never leave her, and that she will get only him. And she believes him. What's he doing? In the most literal sense, he betrays her and leaves her to the mercy of an inadequate tyrant father! I'm just shocked. It was disgusting to watch! And it's served under a high-pitched "do the right thing" sauce. In what fucking universe is betrayal right??? At this point, Raj has absolutely no hope that his father will give Simran to him - he just abandons his beloved and goes on the train.
What's going on at the station? Raj's tears touched his father. What? His own daughter's tears didn't touch what to say about some insolent man he's known for three and a half days? 3 minutes ago, he hit his face, and suddenly he says that no one will love Simran as Raj... I can't believe this nonsense.
Finally, Simran reunites with his beloved...who had just betrayed her and abandoned her. Have a happy ending. It's not a spoonful of tar, it's a whole ladle poisoning everything we've been shown before. To ruin a good movie is to try.
The second part, in 2005, I happened to see earlier. And she was no better example than this one. There was no such delirium there and was not close - they perfectly performed the work on mistakes. I recommend the second part to everyone.
