In short, the film is certainly extraordinary, very non-stupid and sometimes homerically funny. From a mixture of blood, brains and other suspicious substances in places muddy, but it is redeemed by a good portion of good humor in each episode. The film constantly ridicules itself and all existing genre cliches, the actors play as they should play in a movie of this kind - cheerfully, with a light, literally winking at the camera and at the same time, without causing the sensation of a performance or staging, the story is quite addictive.
I really liked the central characters - Lionel - a mama's son, his brutal uncle and Paquita - not a refined beauty, but a girl with a sea of southern charm and a stunning smile.
From a modest budget of three million, Jackson squeezed everything he could and even more, so the ridiculous amount of box office fees is somewhat surprising - you can say that the film failed at the box office. It was a failure, in my opinion, completely undeserved.
I always give a rating based on my own feelings, and since I just don’t like zombie movies, I deliberately underestimate the rating. Fans of the genre can safely throw a couple of points.
