And everyone looked at this miracle from the ground and admired: "Who is this so clever?" And who invented this? The frog couldn’t stand it and cried out in response: “Yelling!!!” And then she fell into someone else's swamp. And she started telling the local quacks how she toured abroad in the south. They listened to her with their mouths open. But one day a stork flew in and took the poor stupid frog away. To the south, they clearly did not fly, but in that swamp for a long time still remembered the adventures of an amazing traveler.

The traveler frog has become a household name for all mountain tourists whose voyages end in fiasco. And Vsevolod Garshin came up with this image, from under whose pen came many instructive stories. One of them formed the basis of the eponymous cartoon "Travel Frog". The roles were voiced by talented Soviet actors Rostislav Plyatt, Mikhail Yanshin, Erast Garin, Elena Ponsova and Larisa Pashkova. The film was shot by Vyacheslav Kotenochkin and Alexander Trusov.
Unprecedented flight
The plot unfolds on a swamp, which was visited by ducks, crouched to rest before a long and complex flight to warm lands. An incredibly curious groove enters into a conversation with them, confident that dinner will not be for them - it is too big and slippery.
Fascinated by the story of the south, where there are the same swamps, there are clouds of appetizing midges, and most importantly, the warmth, groove-eyed heroine in every possible way begs migratory birds to take her with them. Ducks would be happy to take, but they do not know how she is going to fly there without wings.
The desire at all costs to visit where the midges themselves ask for a mouth helps the amphibian to find a brilliant in its simplicity way out - two ducks will take a strong branch into their beaks, and the frog will grab it with its large mouth. Amazed by her intelligence, the birds agree and go along with the traveler on a long road.
Perhaps the croak would have reached the promised south, if not for her boasting. Like the crow in Krylov’s fable, she did not stand the test of flattery and lost her only chance to be far away in warm lands. And yet everything ended well for the traveler. Floating in a foreign swamp, she began to tell amazing stories about her adventures in distant countries, which had nothing to do with reality. And she continued to look forward to the sky, waiting for the ducks to descend again next to her and take on their risky voyage.
The second life
The 1965 cartoon was re-released on DVD as part of the collection “Merry Adventures”, which collected animated films “Soyuzmultfilm”, the plot of which somehow related to travel.
According to the fairy tale of Vsevolod Garshin, three animated films have been shot at the moment: in 1965 by Vyacheslav Kotenochkin, in 1996 by Valentin Karavaev and in 2005 by Alexei Bovkun. The film Karavaev participated in the competition program of the festival "Tarusa-1997". close

In 1958, when the cartoonist V. Kotyochkin and his colleagues created the cartoon “The Fox and the Wolf”, there were no color televisions in the houses and apartments of the audience. Nevertheless, the painters did not skimp on the colors – the children watched cartoons in cinemas, where they were available in all their glory. And since this cartoon was created based on folk tales, for the children of that distant time it was doubly fascinating.
Once a fox handbag went out for a walk, and all the birds were frightened: a handsome snowman, and a cautious grouse Terentius. He flew higher, listened to the fox stories about how the crook in the city was, and just in case he fulfilled her request - he told me where the man was going on a sled. And he went to the river, he wanted to catch a fish and small, and great, so that he took out a rich catch to his delight. The fox pricked her ears, began to lick: how to take fish from a man? She ran at full speed, fell on the road and pretended to be dead.
As the sleigh reached her, I saw a man in his way a luxurious collar to his wife on a fur coat. Raised the fox by the tail and threw it on the straw. And the cunning passenger threw all the fish into the snow and then jumped. She'll have a nice dinner, and the man's empty.
A happy peasant came home, and there were no foxes or fish in the sled. A grumpy wife with fists attacked him, and he recognized the poor man, how much a pound dashed. But the fox itself was waiting for a thunderstorm - while she was feasting on a fish, an angry and hungry wolf got on the road. He showed his terrible teeth red, but the fox was not lost and suggested that the predator catch fish himself. The wolf did not know how to do this, and then came up with a purse how to deceive him. close
