Imagine the perfect American town... beautiful homes, manicured lawns, children playing safely in the streets. Now imagine never being able to leave. You have no communication with the outside world. You think you're going insane. You must be in Wayward Pines.
I will immediately say a very strong plot, the idea is beyond praise. Intriguing, interesting and exciting. But the answers to all the questions posed by the series, unfortunately, does not give – broke off on the second season.
I watched the first season of Wayward Pines, as it was rightly called on the website I was watching, because it's a toponym. I did, and that's good. I watched the first season of Wayward Pines, as it was rightly called on the website I was watching, because it's a toponym. I did, and that's good. I can’t say that I was very impressed with the plot, but some moments of social fiction were interesting – how people would behave if they actually got into such a situation. True, the main character and all the other places looked a little silly, but most likely people are, and not super-professionals, as they like to show. The plot is a bit loose, but you can watch. I didn’t watch the second season. Who are they going to shoot about – the first generation that came to power this time? After all, in the film, the main character seems to have died, read that in the book he remains alive until the very end. Yes, and the beginning of the series sets up the idea that these are generally hallucinations of the main character, so anything can be.
A very interesting series produced in 2015 - 2016, tells about what you can think and accordingly say what is not what it seems, etc. The epigraph for the film may be the inscription on the building of the town of Wayward Pines: "In times of general lies, telling the truth is extremism."

A small town is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. While military forces, the government and the media positioned outside of this surrounding barrier attempt to break it down, a small group of people inside attempt to figure out what the dome is, where it came from, and when (and if) it will go away. close
