American fighter number ... Sometimes it happens that a lot of little things that you usually do not notice in a good film – like the ugly face of a supporting actress, excessive pathos, moth-beaten stamps, inappropriate music or something – come together in one film and turn its good idea into a boring mix of frames and sounds. Cyber tackles a very interesting and almost untouched topic of Internet insecurity. A more or less intelligent hacker can rob a bank from the comfort of a room, crash the stock exchange or even start a couple of wars. The threat itself is quite serious, as North Korean craftsmen have recently proved. However, to adequately develop this idea of imagination, the creators did not have enough. A beautiful idea drowned in a sea of small and large shortcomings.
The plot of the film is almost entirely made up of stamps. A cool hero with a dark past and his partner (Negro) Chinese save the world from the threat hanging over him. Then, however, this threat shrinks to the size of several mines, but this does not affect the pathos of what is happening. They are, of course, a brilliant villain. So brilliant that in the end he will think of going to a meeting with the hero, which will end in a standard way for such films. Why he did not send snipers to him or poison him, no one explains. As well as why a pretty Chinese woman suddenly found herself up to her ears in love with the main character in a couple of days. Of course, you can fall in love in less time, but in the film it looks like this - first she tells him that she once saw his photos, and then jumps into bed with him. No development of feelings, no signs of love - slept together, said a few words about how they love each other, and went on to catch the bad guys. The relationship of the main character with a partner is hardly the best way.
The inexpressive script is complemented by equally unexpressive acting and inappropriate music. The whole film actors walk with the expression of a steep brick on their face and incredible pathos in their voice. Like most militants, this one is full of pathos. This is probably the only tone you can hear here. Well, sad music that pops up in moments when there is nothing sad and is not expected, and on the faces of the actors all the same cheerful pathos, certainly does not make the picture better.
The result is an absolutely average movie. There is nothing in it that I would like to criticize, nothing that I would like to praise. His small defects, each of which is not so terrible, merge together and deprive him of any interest from the viewer. A standard action movie that attracts a non-standard idea, but does not develop it in any way.
