A good thriller, in some places unattainable, but with good self-irony. Probably the best Shyamallan movie I've seen.
Refusing to read lectures on incomprehensible topics, you can shoot just a good movie. Of course, there were no blunders – “shooting with hands” was done too professionally, and the camera left for the night to follow for some reason moved, but compared to blunders in other films – this can be forgiven.
The mother of the main characters, of course, receives the title “mother of the year” for such behavior, but otherwise the plot is even devoid of holes. Charismatic boy and secondary characters please, and the strangeness of the grandfather and grandmother uplift the mood.
Definitely worth a look.
