I'll be honest. I never pay attention to all this nonsense as a reward. Let it be Oscar. No, I’m not saying that awards don’t matter to directors, writers, or any other group of people working on films. As a spectator, it doesn’t matter. Well, I didn't win the movie, that doesn't mean it's bad. Or, conversely, the movie won an award and my favorite movie went without a prize, so I hate the winner just for winning? That's not fair.
"The King Speaks" despite the fact that it raises serious themes is quite an easy-to-watch movie. There seems to be a serious problem here - the stuttering of the monarch. This topic can be presented in different angles, up to the drama, which will freeze the heart. But the director took a different path. As a result, we got a nice, calm movie to watch tonight. If you have not spent the evening with your parents, grandmothers, this film will help you catch up. The film will appeal to people of all ages and tastes. (my husband, who loves only fiction and horror, and he watched the whole movie with pleasure). Here you will not find difficult experiences, but take away the subtle humor, the story of one person’s life, dragging the story.
There's no negative in the movie. Everything is well thought out, the actors are selected with taste and their talent helped them perform the roles perfectly. It's a good movie to watch tonight. I advise everyone.
