In order to distract from the daily routine and not very good mood (and well-being), usually watch some detectives. This time, the British not very serious detective series "The Bullies" / Vexed, 2010-2012, 2 seasons (3 + 6 episodes) caught the eye. Not so often in this genre there is such a satirical and humorous component, as in this, crimes are disclosed, but as it were not due to serious work or high professionalism, but in spite of it, since especially serious work is not visible there. The main character is Detective Jack Armstrong (Toby Stevens, by the way, the son of Maggie Smith), in the first season he has one partner - Kate (Lucy Punch), in the second - Georgina (Miranda Rayson). Jack himself is also that slob, lazy, womanizer, on the one hand, like a self-confident and at the same time not very confident in himself, sometimes sentimental, it is difficult to call him a strong professional. Partners, on the contrary, take work more seriously, especially Georgina, who, despite her youth and beauty, constantly reads something in her specialty. Personal life of none of them can be called happy, we constantly observe the problems that they have in this area and which are given no less attention than solving crimes, and maybe more. There are all sorts of other topics, including, for example, racial ones, which are mocked by a black bartender, a former cop, in whose bar the characters are constantly stationed instead of sitting in their office opposite, all the jokes that are constantly sounding there do not shine with special wit, but should not take into account who lets them go. I can’t say I liked the show very much, but you can watch it if you don’t expect much.
