It’s the case when you watch and you don’t know when the movie will even start. At the 35-minute mark, it still hasn’t started: no smart characters except the Glavhero, no conflict, mystery, or even a plot (i.e., there are no key elements of the work). Then I got up to turn off this incompetent film, but I opened Imhonet, and he got grades: 9, 8, 9, 7, 7, 10, 8 (excluding a couple of negatives)! Wow! That's why I jumped to conclusions. Continued to watch... At the hour mark, the film never started, absolutely nothing happens. Simon Pegg drags this wretched script with his play alone, trying to save every moment, and he even manages it a little bit, because without him there would be a vacuum. Neither the plot, nor the concept, the content here is barely enough for a short film, and for some reason it is smeared for an hour and a half, like a gee on the fence with a thin layer ... This is not even the case when something was not finished in the film, not reached, no - there is no film at all.
If you want a successful art house about a man who was afraid to leave the house, then watch Tom's Lover. If you're talking about a paranoid person who's afraid of everything, listen to Stephen King's "The Paranoid Spell." There are a lot of good thrillers about phobias. With Simon Pegg, there are a bunch of great comedy thrillers, especially Sean of the Living Dead, Armageddian and Type of Cool Cops. Don't even turn on that slag.
P.S. I can't imagine what the taste should be for those who give it grades of 8-10. Some people from the mirror, where it's the opposite.
