Alain Chaba noticed Pierre Lescur and invited him to work on Canal+ as a weather announcer. For some time, Alain talked about the sun and the rains in the program “Monsieur Meteo, but he quickly got bored, and in the early 80s he created a comedian – the group “Zuli”. His collaborators in this project were actors Bruno Carette, Chantal Lobby and Dominic Farruja. Funny performances "Zero" brought great joy to the French audience.
Bruno Caret died in 1989, and the Zuli are three. And in 1994, the full-length comedy of this trio “City of Fear: Family Comedy” was released, which was a resounding success.
In 1995, Alain appeared in Josian Balasco’s comedy The Cursed Lawn, and two years later he shot his own film Didier, where he starred as a Labrador. The painting won the Cesar Award.
In 1997, Alain plays a police officer in the film Cousin, and in 2000 - appeared on the screen in the comedy For Another's Taste. In the same year, he voiced the legendary Shrek. He was very good in such paintings as
"Shu-shu" "French twist," "Tresor," "Your hands on my ass."
And in 2002, Shaba wrote the script for the second part of "Asterix and Obelix: Mission "Cleopatra" and acts simultaneously as a director. In the same film, he plays the role of Caesar. This film became the highest grossing film in the history of French cinema.
In 2004, Alain directed “A Million Years B.C.” This work did not have such a furor as the previous one, but, nevertheless, it was also warmly received by the audience.
