In 1980, John Wilson, author of All I Know, I Learned from the Movie, who describes himself as a "lifelong film maniac," established an anti-award for the most dubious achievements in cinema. The specific award was called “Golden Raspberry” (sometimes it is also called “Golden Cranberries”).
