When an old enemy, the Cylons, resurface and obliterate the 12 colonies, the crew of the aged Galactica protect a small civilian fleet - the last of humanity - as they journey toward the fabled 13th colony, Earth.

As I began to watch, I expected to be shown the flight of thought about space. It’s much further away than the here and now. But I was wrong. This is simply the most absurd way to show the cosmos through an archaic view of the world (ancient and primitive, dominated by authorities and postulates, fiction, deities). Here, humanity is at a stage of development so far that it has the technology of spatial leaps, but the computer technology on ships there is old and analog, the colonization of many planets has already occurred, but churches are thriving everywhere, some worship rituals and so on. The military apparently does not have any statutes, but only imitates the behavior of law enforcement agencies. Just a game. The biggest serial disappointment in my memory. I don’t recommend it, especially considering how long it takes.
I didn't like it. The idea is interesting, the first series seems to be interesting. But then we meet the main characters, and the desire to watch the film disappears. A unique series. All the key characters are annoying. I'll describe some.

I didn't like it. The idea is interesting, the first series seems to be interesting. But then we meet the main characters, and the desire to watch the film disappears. A unique series. All the key characters are annoying. I'll describe some. 1. President (former Minister of Education) A completely illogical woman who accidentally gained power and surprises with strange inconsistent decisions. On the face - righteousness and impenetrable stupidity. Let me give you an example. Their plane number one is detected, the enemy will be in 2 minutes. Nothing to fight back. “We can’t leave, we need to stay looking for survivors in space.” Etc. The A-list complex. 2. The pilot is a rebel. He punches the senior in the rank of his subordinates. They put her in a locker for a while... and that’s it. Because she's a good pilot. And the fact that the pilot does not have enough brains even to master the rules of subordination. What she can throw out in a fight with such a lack of brakes doesn't bother anyone. Moreover, he comes to her to fix the relationship, but she tells him what he ... short insults. Nobody cares what she's like. Again, a good pilot... The unique personality complex. 3. Another pilot. Blames his father for his brother's death. That he let such a sharp-sighted man near the starship or whatever they have, and his brother crashed. Brother's responsibility is denied. It's Dad's fault. I have a bad father complex. 4. It's actually a bad father. The only one who seems more - less adequate in the series. Rules military forces in space. It's crazy about the stupidity of the president, his son, everyone around him. He is suffering from the idiocy around him. What is the point when he announces that they will not fight, because they need to fly to "multiply" (quoted the President). And a silent scene with fucking faces hearing it from the commander. Here, perhaps, the decision is correct, I will not argue, but how beautifully presented. . . There are other characters in the series, one more colorful than the other. There is no desire to watch their actions, to watch the development of characters. For everything is silenced by their stupidity, illogical actions and actions. What an idea!
