The remake restart evokes mixed feelings. Details of the picture fell noticeably, there are not so many cool landscapes, which delighted the eyes of the original and addition. On the other hand, the increased timekeeping allowed to finally reveal the plot and close the semantic holes left by the ragged narrative of the original dilogy.
In the design of the characters made adaptation and work on errors. Nene Romanova dyed her hair (pink in the 90s was no longer so fashionable) and added motivation, Lina finally found her story and character (which she, in fact, did not have), Celia’s motivation became much clearer, and many hints from Crash began to somehow form a whole picture.
Priss was the least rebuilt, but their relationship with Leon received a causal relationship and development. The idiocy of A.D. Police, too, has finally been explained.
As for the plot itself, much has been changed and expanded, while new information perfectly complements the lore of the original dilogy.
Workshop.
