Vysotsky demonstrates an ideal model of charismatic behavior. Approximately 70% of the time on the screen the hero Vysotsky. And that's great, because it's Vysotsky who defines the film's charm. Without him, it would be an ordinary Soviet detective, well shot, with good actors, but already forgotten by our time.
It was the character of Vysotsky that made the film immortal.
Vysotsky demonstrates the ideal behavior model of a charismatic person. This model is best revealed in conflicts, and conflicts in the film occur constantly: with each criminal and very often with Sharapov. You can and should analyze each episode, and it would be a whole psychological study.
Sharapov is charming but unrealistic. He could not command a company unless it was a company of kindergarteners. It has zero dominance. And he will not become an investigator: he will not be able to put pressure on a person who crossed the road at a red light, let alone a hardened criminal. And he didn't go over the front line 22 times. He would have been caught the first time. He does not have a drop of audacity, he is strongly clamped.
