Second time this is not for you first
It is interesting to revisit the picture after 10 years.
I went to the movies and said, ‘What didn’t I see?’ A great ship that sinks for a long time, a great love that happens only in fairy tales. Why watch it for more than 3 hours?
Turns out I had to see it! Yeah, big ship. And he is magnificent, luxurious and unique. Yes, great love. And albeit fabulous, but some terribly touching, very sad and at the same time beautiful.
It was really surprising that there was a lot of humor in the film (it somehow managed to escape me 10 years ago).
Truly impressive is the scale of the action, the scale of the tragedy. What is especially memorable now is how psychologically difficult it is to look at people’s deaths, or rather their feelings before they die. A young couple in an embrace... Shot-off assistant... Praying people... Captain at the helm... And the orchestra playing to the very end.
