"We're all going to die" This picture is a vivid example of a stunning action movie of those times, there are all the components of success: a colorful, brutal main character, a brilliant main villain and the delightful music of maestro Alan Silvestri, which, however, escalates the situation and keeps in suspense. In my opinion, this is Arnie’s best role, he’s at his peak here, how great he looks with a cigar in his teeth and in camouflage, there’s nothing to say for him. It is worth noting his brave detachment, there is someone to look at, like no two future governors in the same detachment (Schwartz and Ventura).
Filmed very competently, this is one of those films that you watch in one breath, the viewer will not be bored. So far, the film looks like it was shot in our day, not 1987. It’s hard to even imagine what my impressions of the picture would have been if I had managed to watch it at that time in the cinema.
Of course, the lion’s share of success is the Predator itself, he turned out to be just a cult character that you want to see in its entirety throughout the film. The villain of all time, the perfect killing machine, when I first watched this film, I was very annoyed with the ending and that this superhero suffered just such an end, I thought that some log from a tree, not worthy to defeat the Predator himself!
Then they were able to shoot cool action films, time flies, and this movie seems to have frozen in time, it looks as bright and magnificent as 25 years ago.
