I can’t give this movie a very high rating, to be honest. He's good, but not delicious. But I still want to talk about him.
It is based on the book of the same name by Michael Cunningham. It is quite complex in its structure, in parallel there are three lines of storytelling: in one Virginia Woolf writes her “Mrs. Dalloway”, in another Lara Brown reads this book, and Clarissa Vaughn throws a party in honor of her friend. The stories are bizarrely intertwined. And the film managed to convey that in a wonderful way.
The film turned out beautiful, with an excellent outdoor cast (
Nicole Kidman,
Julianne Moore,
Meryl Streep) and worthy of attention.
