I have long wanted to see this movie. But I still couldn't get to him. Of course, this desire appeared after seeing the list of top 250 on imdb, in which this film takes as much as 7th place. It wasn’t until he came to me that I started watching him. "Scared" duration (more than 3 hours!) and black and white. But, for the most part, having found free time, sat down to watch this creation.
I will say at once that I am not a fan of this topic about the war, and in addition about the Jews (I have nothing wrong with them). But at an early age, I had to watch our Soviet war movies with my father, who has no respect for anything other than Soviet cinema, especially the Hollywood industry. In general, who is Schindler and what he repeated there, of course, before watching the film I did not know.
Impressions on the film. I don’t know why this movie is so popular on many websites. What's so special about him? I bet the movie is beautiful. I pay tribute to Spielberg. By the way, what's really exciting is that it's one of the few movies where at least the uniforms of the military have been shown correctly (in my opinion). Yeah, Neeson and Kingsley are level. And Fiennes is great. But why was it so difficult to keep the film? It looks good, but it's boring. Since I did not know the history of the film, I predicted something tough at the end. But it was different. Again, respect for the director (or rather, the writers). And the scene was not very good. Neeson was very upset that he did not cause me any feelings.
I didn’t see anything important in the film. All those realities that the film showed me, I knew for so long and I did not intend to forget. Fortunately, our education system is good. And that school. How many families and families died in this terrible war. And it's not just the Jews. It was still gently shown in the film how they suffered. This is my opinion.
