Opinion on the film "Wonka" (2023):
To begin with, I learned about the film “Wonka” in 2021, then I watched the schedule of future premieres and saw this tape in future premieres and began to expect it due to the fact that my favorite actor Timothy Chalamet starred in the title role. Later, I learned that Paul King (a Paddington dilogy) had directed the film, and I began to expect it even more, and finally, two years later, Wonka hit theaters. Today I was able to go to the movies and see this tape and what can I tell you? Have my expectations been met? We'll find out!
"Wonka" - a beautiful and lamp family tape that dreams come true. The most important thing is not to give up, no matter how difficult they are.
The plot is naive and simple, but on the contrary, it is good for the tape, it captures you from the beginning and does not let go until the very end, the 116-minute chronometer passed in one breath, quickly and imperceptibly.
The humor in the film is funny, and a couple of moments touch to the core. The characters were not cardboard and wooden, each of them opened, and some characters can be penetrated and empathized for them.
The cast is gorgeous. Timothy Chalamet is a great Willie Wonka, knowing that Donald Glover, Ryan Gosling and Ezra Miller auditioned for the role of Wonka, then Chalamet is generally the perfect choice for this role. Chalamet played well and did not overplay. The other actors also did well.
I really liked the soundtrack of the film, the songs are inserted not just for a tick, but each of them promotes the plot. My favorite song is Pure Imagination by Timothy Chalamet. I also liked the other songs.
Also, I would like to mention excellent costumes, scenery, visual and excellent camera work.
In the end, “Wonka” is a great and lamp family movie, which is worth watching the whole family in the cinema. I think in a couple of decades this film will be a classic of the 21st century.
My score is 10 out of 10 and I recommend it!
P.S. By the way, “Wonka” was the second movie seen about the belief in a dream this month, the first was the cartoon “Big little adventure”, a coincidence? I don't think.
