The series leaves a strange feeling. On the one hand, it’s not bad for our series. But many blunders, plot moves that cause confusion. And most importantly, a lot of questions about the details. If they live forever, on an isolated island, then that community must have its own lingo, jargon, and parochial words that distinguish them from our language. Moreover, among people who live forever, various intrigues should be constant, because they have no other entertainment (spiritual seekers were not shown to us on the island, I think the bar with alcohol will get bored quite quickly). The Baron, as the head of the community, must see such intrigues at once, otherwise there will soon be a new Baron. In the film, the baron and his squad are rather bewildered, the squad looks more like a pioneer. Similarly, the absence of distrust of strangers (and this is a closed society, every new person there is a risk for old-timers) is puzzling. A separate question is how all this miracle village is illuminated. Because a helicopter can't bring that much fuel oil. If there are no animals on the island and it is always winter, then 46 people need at least 1380 kg of food per month (even if they eat a kilogram per day). I’m not talking about the temperature in houses made of containers, with thin frames and doors of boards with cracks in the finger. Well, there is also the atmosphere of the houses, a lot of modern things (including overall), up to the chairs and blinds on the window. It seems to me that if these little things and their explanations were given time, the story would be more perfect and interesting. It was a strange selection of actors. The Doctor, the Baron. But it tastes like color. In general, if you do not pay attention to the little things, it is quite lookable. For me, the film turned out to be some compilation from Bulychev’s “Martian Potion” and the film (the film, not the book) “The Island of Lost Ships”.
