I am in delight This is the film that made the biggest impression on me since La La Landa.
This is the third movie I've put 10 on the Movie Search. (After La La Land and Interstellar)
To begin with, the first 10 minutes (with the song "30/90") already got me excited and I watched the scene several times and added the song to the player. She's fine. During these 10 minutes, you are presented with all the main characters, the main conflict, the goal of the protagonist and all his feelings and experiences. It’s a great song that I want to listen to.
I definitely got all the problems that are shown in the film. When a person approaches a certain milestone in his life, he looks back and realizes that he has not achieved much.
I’m not 30, but 21 at the time of the movie. But I, like Jonathan Larson, am approaching one of those frontiers, and I have similar thoughts in my head. Of course, I had a lot of sympathy for the main character, because I immediately understood him. And the fact that he's even older but hasn't moved much further adds empathy to his character. And at the very beginning, you realize that this is not a lazy person who sits idle. A person who burns his business and dreams of doing it and does everything to focus on it as much as possible.
Throughout the film, I wanted him to succeed. Especially at a time when because of his musical, he begins to have problems with his personal life and close people.
I almost forgot to write about the wonderful acting (and singing) of Andrew Garfield. He's great here, believe every movement, every phrase, every facial expression. He perfectly played a wide range of feelings and emotions: from joy and carelessness to disappointment and hopelessness.
I liked all the songs, but I remember two of them. It's 30/90, which I've already written about, and the song "Wake up," which is sung by the heroine of the main character's musical. It's very rewarding when you realize he wrote this song to himself on behalf of his girlfriend.
And the moment of running the play of the main character is very strong. I literally cried the whole scene from the beginning to the very end of the run.
And there are two very strong moments behind it. I can't tell you what those moments are because they're spoilers. But they turn the heroes and you with them. These are both incredibly sad but inspiring moments. The main character, who thought he had already spent all his time, realizes that he actually has a lot of time and opportunities.
As a result, it is at the same time a very funny, sad, but inspiring film that tells about the dream, growing up and relationships with loved ones.
The most accurate film hit me in my entire life. Best movie I've seen in the last 4 years.
