Spider-Man - Old songs about the main thing.
Treat, treat and treat. After the previous wretched part with Mysterio, I thought I wouldn't even go to the third. Holland as Spider was taken on the big promise that this character would grow and gain credibility over time, but the two films were long enough. It didn't work. For the most part, it is the fault of the studio and the script that Spider drowned in his own films, he was pushed in every scene by heroes and villains, and in school it was done by ordinary people. He was incredibly pathetic in his servility and lickishness to Stark, Happy, Fury, Mysterio and two mulattoes. For some reason, the script was written in such a way as to turn every second scene into an unfunny comedy. But Holland himself did his part to fail this character: he is a weak actor, he is ugly, he has the appearance of an English fool, not a hero. Yes, this trilogy has billion-dollar fees, but let’s be honest – it’s all a long celebration of Spider-Man’s return to Marvel, and the studio managed to throw dust in the eyes of the world for several years. The first part was entirely carried by Michael Keaton and a little Downey. The second part was carried by Jackson and Gyllenhaal. There was nothing interesting about Spider himself. And if the third film was about Craven, as was once planned, I would not even watch it in a pirate. But Kevin Feige apparently understood that if you show the same trick to the public, they’ll get it. Therefore, for the third part, the entire bet was made on the info-drive. All this is not for the sake of the story, not for the sake of the actor or director, but for the sake of what company was assembled for the New Year light.
It turned out not a real movie, but a Disney fan fiction on the theme of "guys, let's live together." All his touch is not real, painted. Those who are old enough remember the program Disney on Fridays, there were many low-budget films, for example, how a man turned into a dog, how a boy grew into a man in an experimental greenhouse for vegetables, how a robot boy fought criminals. And there were always touching childish endings, like this. I understand that we all go to the movies to cheat, but here the level of this deception is unhealthy. This is a formula-compiled studio project designed to squeeze a billion and a half dollars out of humanity through nostalgia and fan service. It was so much more important for the authors to bring back the old characters than to keep the lore that they simply brushed it off. The plot about saving the villains from karma is a lie, because the Lizard and Sand did not die in their plots. The participation of Elektro and Sand in the cabbage of villains makes no sense, they have no motivation for this. The image of Electro is contradictory to the limit. Yes, the authors made the character more respectable than in their film, but did he need it? White thread sewn this explanation, but it also changes the character from bad to good and back several times during the film. Why not upgrade to Sandy? He's pretty ridiculous, too.
The most stupid and cartoonish moment of the film is when Spiders without any manufacturer cook two anti-malignant genetically engineered potions at home in one evening. Of course it's so easy! And this despite the fact that the villains themselves took years to develop their technology.
It’s funny that on the premiere day I left the theater quite happy, the film created the illusion of quality, it was as if the components of success were carefully assembled. But over time, we realized that we were not in the cinema, but in the circus, and this circus was with horses. All past Spider films (with all their shortcomings) showed exactly the story: that there was such a person, with such problems, he lived and thought like this, coping with his crises and mad enemies who posed a real threat. Here we saw the attraction, a New Year's Eve matinee with five favorite villains, of which only one remained that way, and the rest did not want to conflict, and they were dragged through the script as best they could, imposing this role on them with all the lies. They just wanted to spread their charm, they were busy with their dreams and self-determination issues. Why they went to the final batting – no one can normally explain. Well, the writer called, you know? Holland is still an independent funny sucker, he in all the films licked the ass of other heroes, and then licks Strange and a little – his versions.
The image of Spider-Holanda was a complete failure, because for several films tried to impose the idea of Spider as the heir to Stark, but this idea did not resonate in the hearts of fans, because it was not natural, it was the commercial desire of the studio to replace Downey, who each time takes half the budget. And so the studio admitted that it could not pull it off and that Parker must be a friendly neighbor who decides how to be and sews his own suit on a typewriter on a cold New York evening. It was only at the end of his trilogy that he finally became himself. And that's how it ended! And before that, what were we watching? Demo version? A festive cabbage that is now cut off from the events of the cinematic universe? Why did we bring it back to Marvel?
