Daniels did awesome again Two hours of madness that you don’t want to end.
A Chinese immigrant living in the United States with a lot of family problems suddenly learns that she can travel through the multiverse and must necessarily save the world. Stones talk here, a raccoon teaches a cook to cook (yes, just like in Ratatua), people have boiled sausages instead of fingers, and a college student (not really) is able to beat a police officer to death with two huge dildos. But even in these crazy worlds, love still wins.
Quote: Please be kind! Especially when you don’t understand.
Already after the "Man-Swiss knife" it was clear that in the world there were two unique directors who are destined to go on a special path. Tarantino once divided modern cinema into “before” and “after”. This is now indisputably Daniels – Daniel Sheinert and Daniel Kwan, two brilliant dudes, behind whom I see the future of cinema.
“Everything Everywhere at Once” is an incredibly inventive and super-original film. How wonderful and unusual it was invented, filmed and mounted! I've never seen anything like it. The starring actress herself, the beautiful Michelle Yeoh, as well as Anthony and Joe Russo, who gave the world the “Infinity Saga” (I am sure that Marvel head Kevin Feige was not offended because of borrowing the idea about the multiverse), sincerely believed in this story and partially produced it. Yeo is, of course, an outstanding actress. In an author’s, independent and relatively inexpensive film, she played probably the best role in her career.
Anyway, I'm absolutely thrilled. This does not mean that the film will go to everyone. He is very, very unusual and to someone everything that happens on the screen can seem unimaginable game. But personally, I saw something much more. I dare say that's what the Daniels intended.
