Watched it in a movie theater. The picture, the acting, the effects are flawless. The concept itself is also very interesting, although it violates the laws of physics (the law of conservation of matter, in particular). But from the parable, in general, no one demands this.
And what this parable is all about is multidimensional. And show business, sucking people juice and figurative (and in the film and literally) sense. And about the cult of body beauty, killing the soul of his fans. But this was written by the authors and other reviews.
I saw another aspect – a parable about the relationship between youth and old age. Youth mindlessly steals life from his old age, indulged in excesses, and old age jealously and persistently demands respect and support from youth (in life - a stranger, in the film - his own).
Another moral is how small indulgences often lead to irreversible destructive consequences for others, and ultimately for yourself.
I was also struck by how anti-erotic the film depicts the nudity of both characters with their beautiful bodies, despite the long and accentuated exposure of bodies in the frame.
In general, the film is definitely worth watching. But personally, although he made me think, he did not give me much pleasure. For my taste, it is very tight, and from many shots I wanted to puke right in the hall (yes, I do not really like body-horror and generally all blood :)
So 7 points.
