The film pulled four on a five-point system only from the second half. And the last half an hour, it takes the movie a little above the top four. At first, you swear, because the shot is tasteless, the frame is no, there are passing unnecessary fragments, like the hero driving a car that do not carry any content. Statham is good throughout, for the sake of action and Statham movie and watching. The script is written with joints. Of course, we understand why the hero throws out drugs twice - so as not to participate in the crime - but this plot plot, aimed at sneaking into the gang's trust, is absolutely devoid of elegance: first the hero buys a batch of drugs, and then secretly destroys it. Well, okay. Although the hero, and the family of small businessmen who hired him, do not have money. Somehow, such plot moves are not motivated in any way and are not explained by anything, but represent such a grand piano from bushes. And the cameraman also removes them unconvincingly, and the director could at least make a couple of flashbacks for a few seconds, which would explain the hatred of drugs: at least throw the idea that it was drugs that drove the spouse of the hero to suicide. But no, the film is squandering without explanation, and why, as it were, spend money on unnecessary plot explanations, the viewer already scoops up. The last half hour of the film is already with inspiration, although there you could find fault with it. A Russian mobster who has three or how many sons killed is swallowing the whole thing, because the boss told him not to bother. All right. At least the savoring of violence, although it is present, is present within the framework of decency, and that is good. The dynamic is there, and thanks for that. It is quite possible to understand and imagine that the film is “based on real events” (although the credits do not say this), only these events are brought to a climax by the author’s imagination, but filmed and invented without elegance. Yes, it so happens that the former commando is confused with bandits who are the same with him in the field of berry, and helps his employer through these connections to pull his daughter out of trouble, although such stories require a higher level of skill than the director. Involuntarily mark the time signs not only in the Russian mafia, but also in graffiti on the wall in Chicago Ukraine.
