Watched in the cinema. :) a very boring chamber and sealed movie thriller in a moving space. The movie is an hour and a half and you don’t get bored. The authors of the film, in my personal opinion, coped with the genre.
David Jaroweschi, the director of "Trap" is a student of the creator of "Guardians of the Galaxy" James Gunn. This is the third remake of The Mousetrap by Argentine director Mariano Kona (2019). He and his regular co-writer, Gaston Dupra, who wrote the film, were inspired by an incident from the crime chronicle of Rio de Janeiro: a young thief climbed into a parked car, an automatic lock worked there, and the guy sat in the car all night until he was pulled out by firefighters. Only in the film Kona the doors were slammed by the evil will of the owner of the car, and the offender could not get away with a slight scare. Remakes were released in 2022 in Brazil and India.
Bill Skarsgård pulls the blanket over himself and in my opinion, those who watched in the hall and with whom they communicated after watching... then, all the audience sympathies were on Eddie’s side, which is absolutely natural, since William is a brazen and cruel psychopath, despite his talk about justice.
As a result, we have – “A well-made thriller, which, thanks to expressive and reliable acting, as well as psychological intensity, keeps in suspense and forces the hero to experience the horrors of imprisonment.”
Watch at home - you need to be on the big screen, so there is more chance that the movie will hook. I recommend it. :
