A high concept thriller that tells the story of Dr. Ephraim Goodweather, the head of the Center for Disease Control Canary Team in New York City. He and his team are called upon to investigate a mysterious viral outbreak with hallmarks of an ancient and evil strain of vampirism. As the strain spreads, Eph, his team, and an assembly of everyday New Yorkers, wage war for the fate of humanity itself.
After each view, you begin to understand and realize what it is like to live among monsters, in a country ruled by monsters, without a future, without hope - in anticipation of an imminent and shameful death. . .

A good show, I watched in 2017, when no one thought about COVIDe. Here's my comment from the time (left on my-hit.org) “The topic is relevant, I believe that if there is a next world war, it will not be a nuclear war, but most likely a biological one. The Pentagon guys have not yet created a virus that kills only Russians, for example, because this bastard has the strongest property to mutate and strike everyone indiscriminately. But believe me, the military is trying very hard, even announced a tender for the purchase by the Pentagon of biomaterials and tissues of the Russian Caucasian race, not Ukrainians, Belarusians, etc., but Russians. They are preparing a surprise for us, definitely, although the official version is for studying in terms of fighting diseases. But they're not that naive, are they? But in general, it is really scary, in the film quite plausibly shows the speed of the spread of the infection, you can not stop ... Now that we're going through this epidemic, there's a lot of prophetic stuff in this series, except for vampire worms.
The first season is great, the script is sweet, there are almost no problems with the logic of actions.
The second completely rotten non-logical thought brooch in the middle, the feeling that the script was written by other people. I read the news and sat on the Internet in the background of the series.

The first season is great, the script is sweet, there are almost no problems with the logic of actions. The second completely rotten non-logical thought brooch in the middle, the feeling that the script was written by other people. I read the news and sat on the Internet in the background of the series. The third season isn’t bad, but I’ve already watched it to finish the series. In general, the development of events is logical, and people’s actions are stupid. The fourth season is even better, although it does not reach the first. The atmosphere of the apocalypse and utopia is conveyed well, practically Fallout and war is never changing. The only scene and method of extracting a warhead is complete slag. The scenario in global terms is very good, brutally bloody, the main characters will die, such a picture could not be normally shown in a feature film. But the actions of individual characters are the hand of the face. A vampire who dodges bullets and is as fast as diarrhea, talks a lot and runs away with his tail clenched as soon as he hears gunfire unarmed man chased for decades and so several times. You can watch. The main second season somehow endure.
