I feel good about many drawn projects about the League, but this cartoon is just terrible. It's not even on Wikipedia's "Original Animated Films of the DC Universe." It's bad.
- The drawing of the characters is frankly childish. Heroes do not look like themselves, Superman, Aquaman, Luther, Grundy have other faces, Cheetah and Toyman are completely redesigned beyond recognition. Primitive backgrounds – this is especially noticeable in the first landscape of Kansas, a shot as if from a cartoon about Bugs Bunny.
- Inconsistencies with the plot of other films. Not that it once worried the studio DC – they have a direct sequel to their own full-length may not match the plot, the composition of the characters and their status alive / dead. Superman reveals Lois’ identity in every second film, always for the first time. But it was still wild to see Luthor and Grodd working together after the show ended.
- Idiot logical errors – the characters talk in a vacuum, many times the characters are frozen into a piece of ice, but it is not dangerous or even painful. To awaken a man who has been frozen for a thousand years, it is enough just to wave his fist towards a block of ice, and he will not split into parts along with the ice, his dead cells will rise at once, the heart will start itself, and a thousand years without oxygen has never damaged the brain. .
- It's a ridiculous pram fight scene. It would look like Tom and Jerry, but not Justice League. That was the last straw for me, after which I just dropped.
Don't look, it's a pathetic parody. I can't believe it was filmed by Warner Bros. I couldn’t google any convincing information, but in my opinion it just fell to some small studio, which somehow lost the rights to create, and she eventually hesitated to indicate herself in the credits. I don't believe that WB itself could have sucked that at the time, in parallel with other normal cartoons. There are a lot of other full-lengths about the League - everything is plus or minus in order.
