The war is over. In the Belarusian village of Pokolyubichy, liberated from the Germans, only women and old people remained, so teenagers have to work on an equal footing with adults. Boys Sanka and Ivan are constantly drawn to exploits. When there were rumors in the village that some kind of ghoulish man was hiding in the forest, the guys decided to catch him and become famous for it. It’s good that the police came to their aid in time. After all, the ghoulish was armed with a German machine gun former police officer Afonka.
