A thriller set two hundred years in the future following the case of a missing young woman who brings a hardened detective and a rogue ship's captain together in a race across the solar system to expose the greatest conspiracy in human history.
The first few episodes were shot in some gloomy noir and make a repulsive impression, tried to watch three times and only last time was able to reach the moment of capture and absorption by the series. The overall impression is amazing, for me today it is the best space series. A separate delight is dedicated to Kamina Drummer (Kara Gi) a stunning character - a fantastic actress!
Incredibly worked out characters, an excellent script for the book, beautiful effects for the series, a cool atmosphere, twists, from which ants and tension, which takes your breath away. Deep thoughts and actions. This is definitely the top 5 of all the fiction that came out on this planet :
Good science fiction, though long in my opinion, would be much more interesting and dynamic if you cut the number of seasons in half. Good science fiction, though long in my opinion, would be much more interesting and dynamic if you cut the number of seasons in half. Personally, I don’t like Jim Holden, especially in the first season, too associated with Jon Snow, the same snotty, stupid character, with the expression “mom, I pooped”, whose pseudo-justified actions often cause Spanish shame. The following seasons improve the character situation a little, it gets better and places are quite suitable, although the 6th season is also not so. I have nothing against, but a little cuts the usual picture of the world the abundance of strong independent ladies in the first leadership roles, although it may be so over time, who knows. Naturally, some of these ladies are gay and bisexual. But it kind of doesn't have a subpoena, because there are almost no male homosexuals in the movie, and those are not the best characters. Maybe that's the writer's preference. And also, Easter eggs, but only one captain of a pirate ship is allowed to color his eyes. )
Very rarely we are spoiled by series on a space theme. Since the legendary "Firefly" has passed 12 years, when the screens came out "The Expanse". I watched all the series with interest all these years. Yes, in season 5, the plot began to sag, but at 6 we were happy again. I highly recommend space fiction fans!
