The film tells the real story of the creator of the film “Room”, considered the reference-incompetent, Tommy Wiseau. Wiseau’s identity is still unsolved – no one knows his real name, where he comes from (there are suggestions that he is from Poland), how old he is, where he has so much money. James Franco himself played the main role, and his brother Dave Franco played the role of his friend Greg Sestero. It seemed to me that watching such a well-made film about a really incompetent (at least in the field of acting and directing) personality is a bit difficult. Interestingly, the film "Room" over time according to the laws of postmodernism became a cult.
James plays much better than he shoots, hence the score. For those interested not in the overall quality of the film, but directly in the Room, the history of its creation and a closer acquaintance with the authors of the masterpiece, the assessment will be two points higher.
