The moments when they find victims make them cringe at the sight of the victims of the maniac, who were tortured with the most sophisticated methods. And although they never showed the scene of the murder itself, you can clearly imagine how this “execution” took place.

A maniac who considers himself a person through whom higher forces speak, his game is perfectly thought out. One of the few films that doesn’t have holes or gaps in the script, or they’re so small that they’re invisible. Properly constructed plot, the atmosphere of the film creates the right mood for viewing.

The appearance of a maniac on the stage and waiting for the end of this story. The end of the game, which led this “righteous man”, are quite unexpected, and although the viewer knows how it will end, until the last second of the film you hope that the detective will be taller and smarter than his enemy.

A terrible film about reality, revealing the vices of human nature.

This film is the first collaboration between Brad Pitt and David Fincher, followed by such remarkable films as Fight Club and The Mysterious Story of Benjamin Button. The plot is based on murders that are committed for seven deadly sins: greed, laziness, pride, lust, gluttony, anger and envy. The last two are the apogee of the whole film and its main feature. It is worth noting that the film also has an atmosphere of noir: the lighting is dark and it rains almost all the time on the street, the city seems to press on the main characters anticipating the black denouement of the finale.

The actors did a great job with their roles, especially Kevin Spacey in the role of a serial killer who did not want people to know that he was in the film and asked to remove his name from the opening credits. Although the film was made a decent time ago, it remains the best thriller to this day. And in the end, when you find out what is in the box, you are in a kind of stupor.

A masterpiece.

Fincher and classic genre

Amazing film, amazing cast, amazing plot, amazing directing. At the first viewing, the film keeps in suspense all the time. The brutal scenes of murders, the religious motive of the killer, whose identity is kept secret until the very end (it is this plot technique that always made you watch films of this kind to the end), ordinary detectives with an unusual case - Fincher created his masterpiece in terms of detective thrillers.

Morgan Freeman, as always, as a good old cop retiring. It seems to be a banal role, however, to judge him for this does not want. Not yet such a megapopular Brad Pitt without his pompous roles ala "Troy" perfectly starred in Fincher both in this film and in "Fight Club". And of course, Kevin Spacey, whose role is tiny, but so insightful. What is his monologue about his crimes, which you listen to and believe him, considering him really not so guilty?

The script is good in part because of its harsh and unpredictable ending. A movie that must be seen.
