So I was "inspired" to write a review of the movie "Calls". I didn’t watch the first parts of Calls, so I’ll look at it as a separate movie. With God! Let's start with the plot. I wonder why it was necessary to introduce “pink snot” into a horror film? To attract a female audience or something? I don't know. Why did you introduce a couple of main characters? If Holt alone was picking up on his problems, or if Julia was the one who got into this problem, everything would be clear. And so... Did they put them together for pink snot? As a result, Holt, who got involved in this, turns into Julia's henchman, who separately carries almost no load. According to the script, Holt is not the main character, but absolutely secondary. Here it was written that Alex Rowe ran from the fitness club, plays himself, poses in front of the camera in all ways, etc. Well, if his character has absolutely no load in the film, but it has a shitty cloud of screen time, then what else to do but pose. Holt is really faceless and not memorable character, but this, in my opinion, is the fault of the writer first and only then the actor. Alex Rowe has disgraced himself as an actor just by appearing in films like The Fifth Wave and The Rings. Alex's partner, Matilda Ingrid Luts. Things are even worse here. It's just nothing, no tin, wood and glass. The whole film goes absolutely emotionless and breathes like an asthmatic or allergic. As an actress, she's no good. In general, the actors worked on three, script and directing on three. Overall score 3 out of 10.
