The first season was good. Sharp satire, great humor, not afraid to laugh at political correctness and other things forbidden for humor. The plots of the series are fascinating, the characters are interesting, and their coexistence is full of stupid and crazy situations. The humor in the series was almost always unexpected and original even to my mind, tempered by Rico and Morty, Futurama and other animated series devoted to crazy humor. For example, it was fun to play the animated inanimate objects surrounding the Disney princess. Or racial stereotypes and Evil Mickey, who destroys political incorrectness in cartoons. Or a parody of Pikachu - a cute cruel animal, dreaming of tearing everyone in battle and perfectly sewing sneakers, because she is Asian. The first season was good.
However, in the second season, the fuse began to weaken. Characters gradually began to lose their features and genre stamps. Having the opportunity to walk through the topics of computer games, politics, economics, consumer society, brands and many other wonderful sources of black humor, the creators did not use any of this and did not reveal the potential of their heroes. That's pretty hurtful. And jokes about gays and obesity with rare patches of racial intolerance by the end of the season began to bother.
The third season did not bring anything new to the series, continuing to trample on jokes already worn out earlier. Not that they're not funny, but they're boring. And the absurdity of the plot began to seem tortured and boring. Maybe it just seems, because I’ve watched all the series in a row, and if you do it intermittently, the series will not get bored to this extent. On the other hand, this did not happen with South Park or Futurama.
If the first season can be called funny and exciting, then the second was such only in places, and in the third animated series finally slipped to the usual and boring.
