Russian director, actor and talented theater teacher Mark Anatolyevich Zakharov was born in Moscow, in 1933, on October 13. During his entire creative career he was awarded many honorary titles - laureate of the State Prizes of the USSR in 1987, People's Artist of the USSR in 1991 and People's Artist of the Russian Federation in 1992. Mark Anatolyevich Zakharov began his career as an actor of the Perm Regional Drama Theatre, the Gogol Moscow Theatre and some others.
As a director, he directed miniatures at the Moscow Miniature Theatre and the Moscow State University Student Theatre. Since 1965 he became the chief director of the Moscow Theater of Satire, and in 1973 he was invited to the place of chief director of the Lenin Komsomol Theater.
In addition to theatrical activities, Mark Anatolyevich Zakharov took an active part in the filming of many popular films, including such pearls of Russian cinema as
"Twelve chairs" (1976),
"Formula of Love" (1984)
"The very Munchausen" (1979)
