Matthew Avery Modine was born on March 22, 1959 in Loma Linda, California (USA). His film debut was in Robert Altman’s film Streeters (1983), for which he won the Venice Film Festival Best Actor Award. Among the acting works of Matthew Modine roles in such films as “Bird” (1984) Alan Parker, the Vietnamese saga Stanley Kubrick “All-metal vest” (1987), the comedy “Married to the Mafia” (1988), where his partner was Michelle Pfeiffer, “Memphis beauty” (1990), “Island of thugs” (1995), “True blonde” (1997). In 1993, Modine made his film debut as director and screenwriter of When I Was Little.
