Among his theatrical works are Pavel Korchagin, Andrei Gavrilovich Dubrovsky, Chichikov, Prince Limon, Karabas-Barabas, Podkolesin, as well as Tom (Uncle Tom's Cabin Beecher-Stowe), Professor Gornostaev ("Love Spring" Trenev), Bay ("Death of the Squadron" Korneichuk).
